Seat Time

2.5 hours of intense small group training for licensed riders ($170).

GET SOME PRACTICE, GET SOME SEAT TIME!

So… you’ve been riding for a while, but haven’t had any formal training since your licensing course. You know that you ride just fine in traffic, on the open road or any situation that doesn’t require slow speed control of your motorcycle. Maybe you’re a new rider that took a basic course. You haven't bought your motorcycle yet. You probably need to drill and practice before you begin to lose the skills you gained?

Be a student of the sport - get valuable “SEAT TIME!”. With so many variables out on the road, getting better and safer does not come from just logging miles. It’s also about practicing and honing your skills. However, it does no good to practice if you’re not doing it the right way. This is your chance to get that practice under the watchful eye of a professional.

Take a look at our Seat Time Highlight Reel to get a feel for the course.

Motorcycle, helmet, gloves and eye protection provided.

YOU MAY CHOOSE TO RIDE YOUR OWN MOTORCYCLE AFTER A SAFETY REVIEW.

Our 2.5-hour multi-course range drills will:

  • Reinforce proper techniques
  • Build and sharpen skills
  • Increase your confidence
  • Refine and/or add techniques that will position you to take your skills to the next level.

After I finished my Basic riding course and got my license I bought myself a r1200r BMW the next day and it was then when I realized there was no way I could ride her home and that I needed more practice. But after taking seat time and following the instructions of my riding coach Jeff, who had answers to all the questions I wasn't asking, my first ride was 200 miles and had a blast. Thank you and keep up the good work.

This class was everything that I hoped it would be! I had no 'seat time' other than my course, but taking this class allowed me to practice in a safe comfortable environment. I feel much more confident with my skills and look forward to riding! Jeff was a great instructor. The class had a great casual flow to it. He gave us practical tips, evaluated our progress and allowed us to concentrate on what we needed most. I highly recommend this class for anyone looking to feel more confident before getting out on the road! Thank you to everyone at MRC for a great afternoon.

Our 2020 schedule ends on November 16th, 2020 because our agreement with Fair Oaks Mall requires the use of our lot for holiday shopping parking.

This hiatus will allow us to prepare for the 2021 season.

The 2021 schedule begins on/after February 1, 2021, and will be posted during November 2020.

This affects all MRC courses except On-Road Training. We will continue to schedule these classes on an individual basis.
